S’more what?

Remember that campfire smell, burnt wood crackling, maybe some singing, but most importantly the s’mores?  A graham cracker with a Hershey’s bar and some lightly toasted, or burnt if you are impatient, marshmallow that melts the whole thing into a sticky warm dessert.

This s’more has been turned into a cookie for a neat (ok a little sticky) package of childhood. And, every time you give one to someone who doesn’t know what it is you get to say “you’re killin’ me smalls.”

Made from South African ingredients I’ve had to substitute some ingredients.  I’ve used top deck, a dairy milk bottom with a white chocolate top, a dark chocolate, marshmallows, with a tennis biscuit inside, the closest biscuit they had to graham crackers.   It’s delicious.
